Release Time:

Jan 23,2024

Electromagnetic diaphragm metering pump is driven by an electromagnet, designed for the delivery of small flows of low-pressure pipeline liquids and a kind of simple structure, low energy consumption, accurate metering and easy to regulate and welcome in the industry. The design is simple and practical, the disadvantage is that the metering flow rate is small (generally below 90L/h), the pipeline pressure requirements are relatively low.

Introduction of electromagnetic diaphragm metering pump:

The electromagnetic diaphragm metering pump is driven by an electromagnet and designed to transport a small flow and low pressure pipeline liquid, which is welcomed in the industry for its simple structure, low energy consumption, accurate measurement and convenient adjustment. The design is simple and practical, but the disadvantage is that the metering flow rate is small (generally below 90L/h), and the pipeline pressure requirements are relatively low.

What are the advantages of a fixed-stroke, frequency-changing metering pump compared to a metering pump with a fixed stroke length and varying stroke length?

With correction, the dosage of each stroke is known. Therefore, the total dosing can be calculated (dosing = dosing per stroke * frequency). The total dosage is linearly related to the frequency (50% frequency = 50% dosage). With external pulse or analog control, the dosing can be adjusted from minimum to maximum in less than one second, which is less expensive than adjusting the stroke length of a motor drive.

How to choose a metering pump

1. Determine the pressure The rated pressure of
the selected metering pump should be slightly higher than the actual maximum pressure required, generally 10~20% higher; Don't choose too high, too much pressure will waste energy, increase the investment and operating costs of the equipment.

2. Determine the flow rate
The flow rate of the selected metering pump should be equal to or slightly greater than the flow required by the process. The use range of metering pump flow is better in 30~100% of the rated flow range of metering pump, and the repeatability of metering pump is high at this time. Considering the economy and practicality, it is recommended that the actual required flow rate of the metering pump should be 70~90% of the rated flow rate of the metering pump.

3. Determine the material of the pump head (hydraulic end) After the specific model and specification of the
metering pump are determined, then select the material of the overflow part according to the properties of the overflow medium, this step is very important, if the choice is not done properly, it will cause the medium to corrode and damage the overflow parts or the medium leakage and pollute the system. In severe cases, it can also cause major accidents.

4. Accuracy level
When choosing a metering pump, it is also necessary to consider the accuracy level of the required metering pump, the higher the accuracy level, the greater the investment. The general working temperature of the metering pump is -30~100°C, and the working temperature range of the special metering pump is wider (such as the high-temperature liquid metering pump with insulation jacket, the delivery temperature can reach 500°C). For the particle size of the medium, the requirement should be less than 0.1mm, and for the medium greater than 0.1mm, the overflow structure of the pump can be changed to meet the needs. For the viscosity of the medium, it should generally be 0~1000mm/s, and the special metering pump can reach 6000mm2/s.
